What Oyster Catcher does

Oyster Catcher is an independent search engine that aggregates Rolex Certified Pre-Owned listings published by third-party official retailers. We do not sell watches directly: when you click on a listing, you are redirected to the retailer's website, which is independently responsible for any data processing related to your purchase.

Data we collect

While browsing, the site may collect standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time of access) necessary for the service to function.

If you fill in the "Request availability / best price" form on a watch page, we collect your name, email, phone (optional) and any message you write, along with the details of the requested watch. This data is shared with the dealer offering that watch, so they can contact you directly — we do not use it for any other purpose.

If you use the "Notify me" feature to get alerted about a model, reference or price you care about, we collect your email and the search criteria you entered. For now this data is only stored: automated email sending is not active yet and will be introduced later with an updated policy.

Data collected through these two forms is kept for a maximum of 12 months from the submission date, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Cookies

The site uses technical cookies necessary for basic functionality (e.g. language preference), which do not require consent.

If you accept the banner shown on your first visit, we also enable analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) to understand in aggregate how the site is used — pages visited, traffic source, time on page.
